The makers
Three Bohemian glass studios and a candle house in Bratislava. We know each of them by name, and we sell what they make.

Izaak Reich
In 2019, after nearly eighty years of silence, founder Adam Havlíček lit the furnace again in Staré Hutě, the Moravian village where Izaak Reich founded a glassmaking dynasty whose glass reached the Hofburg, the Paris Métro and the Titanic. Today the glassworks blows thin, lead-free crystal by mouth, to designs by the Czech artist and professor Rony Plesl. Every set comes with a certificate signed by the master glassmaker who made it.

František Jungvirt
František Jungvirt (born 1996) studied glass painting in Třeboň and graduated from the Glass Studio at UMPRUM in Prague; he has worked with glass since 2014. He draws his designs on paper and makes them with the best Czech glassworks and masters, reinterpreting Czech glassmaking tradition with playful forms, bold colour and hand-painted motifs. In 2024 he opened his own studio and boutique in Prague 5.

Jitka Skuhravá
Jitka Kamencová Skuhravá was born into a Nový Bor glassmaking family and trained in glass cutting and engraving before graduating from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. With her husband Tomáš Kamenec she runs the studio Jitka Skuhrava Glass, making free-formed art glass objects and light sculptures found from the Dubai Metro to Prague's Florentinum. Her work follows nature: ice, eroded stone and molten glass shaped by gravity alone.

LUMINIA
LUMINIA was founded by Natália Gápľovská, who left modelling to make candles by hand from natural plant waxes, without paraffin, colourants or preservatives. Each candle is poured into a vessel of hand-blown Bohemia Crystal that takes six pairs of hands two days to make, crowned with a lid set with a cut crystal diamond. Once the candle has burned down, the crystal stays on as a piece for the home.
