Terms and conditions

1. Who we are

These terms govern purchases at craftedbohemia.com, run by [name or company s.r.o.], ID (IČO) […], VAT no. (DIČ) […], registered at [address], registered in [Trade Register / Commercial Register]. Contact: [email], [phone].

Consumer purchases are governed by Czech law, mainly the Civil Code (Act No. 89/2012 Coll.) and the Consumer Protection Act (Act No. 634/1992 Coll.). If you are a consumer in another EU country, the mandatory protections of your own country still apply to you.

2. Products

We sell pieces by independent makers: Bohemian crystal, hand-blown glass, art glass and candles. Handmade glass varies a little from piece to piece in shape, colour and small bubbles. That is part of how it is made and does not count as a defect.

3. Orders and contract

An order placed in the shop is an offer to buy. The contract is made when we confirm the order by email. We may decline an order if a piece has sold out or if the price shown was clearly wrong. Any payment already made will be refunded in full.

4. Prices and VAT

Prices are shown in Czech crowns (Kč) and euros (€) and include VAT. For buyers in other EU countries, we charge VAT at the rate of the buyer’s country under the EU One-Stop-Shop scheme. Delivery costs are shown before you pay. Delivery within the EU is free on orders over 2,500 Kč / €100.

5. Payment

You can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or a local payment method (for example iDEAL, Bancontact, BLIK, Przelewy24, EPS or SEPA), all processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Trade buyers may pay by invoice once their order is agreed.

6. Delivery

We deliver across the EU through Zásilkovna, PPL or DPD, usually in 3–6 working days after dispatch. Pieces made to order or engraved take longer, and the product page says how much longer. Some larger pieces are sent directly from the maker.

7. Breakage in transit

Every piece is packed by hand and insured. If something arrives broken, photograph the parcel and the piece and write to us within 3 days. We will replace it or refund it. You still have this right if you report it later, but early photos make it much quicker.

8. Your 14-day right to withdraw

As a consumer, you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Tell us by email or with the withdrawal form at the end of these terms. Send the goods back within 14 days of withdrawing, undamaged and preferably in their original packaging. You pay the cost of returning them.

We refund the price and the standard delivery cost within 14 days of receiving the goods back, by the same method you used to pay.

The right to withdraw does not apply to engraved or personalised pieces, made to your own specification, or to candles that have been unsealed or burned, for reasons of hygiene.

9. Defects and warranty

Consumers have a 24-month legal warranty for defects. To make a claim, write to [email] with your order number and photos. We will deal with the claim within 30 days and offer a repair, a replacement, a discount or a refund, as the law provides.

10. Trade buyers

Hotels, restaurants, designers and other businesses buy on trade terms agreed in their quote, which sets out the prices, minimum order, delivery and payment terms. The consumer rights in sections 8 and 9 do not apply to business purchases. Where the quote and these terms differ, the quote applies.

11. Disputes

If we cannot settle a complaint together, consumers may turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI, adr.coi.cz) for out-of-court resolution. Consumers in other EU countries can also ask the European Consumer Centres network (ECC-Net) for help.

12. Personal data

We use your details only to process and deliver your order and, if you agree, to send you news. Our [privacy policy] gives the details.

13. Final provisions

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one in force on the day you placed it.
